Press Release Body = SOMERDALE, NJ, FEBRUARY 2, 2007: Library Automation Technologies, Inc. (LAT) announced a launch of an innovative website (http://www.qitem.com) called qItemT, designed to provide item inventory tracking capabilities for small to mid-size businesses with features traditionally offered only to large firms. At an equivalent of $5/user/month, configured as a subscription based service, qItemT provides businesses with advanced capabilities, such multi-level Bill of Materials tracking, MRP-like reporting and Costing analysis for up to 1000 parts. Free trial period as well as a free qItemT "Lite" version also available.
"We needed a system for our own needs to track inventory, but we couldn't find anything that was simple, flexible, inexpensive and didn't require substantial training and infrastructure investment. Since we didn't find anything "ready-made" - we built our own. Now we want to share it with others.", says Oleg Boyarsky, President and CEO of LAT. The qItemT system allows users to define complex part structures via Bills of Material definitions, and track parts' history and movement in and out of inventory. Simple and intuitive to use, qItemT system features many advanced and sophisticated capabilities like Back-Flash Transactions, Multi-level Component Availability Analysis. etc. In addition, numerous reports allow quick analysis of inventory status, costs and shortages. "Its like SAP in a can", says Oleg, "but virtually free."
